Caminito del Rey is one of Spain’s most dramatic walking experiences. The route passes through the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes on raised boardwalks and mountain paths, giving visitors a controlled way to experience the same cliffs that once made the old path legendary. Today it is ticketed, helmeted, and managed for safety, but the visual impact remains huge: narrow walls, high bridges, water far below, and broad Andalusian mountain views.
