Benagil Cave is one of the Algarve’s most recognizable natural landmarks, carved into the limestone cliffs near the small coastal village of Benagil. The cave is famous for its wide arched sea entrances, secluded sand inside, and the circular opening in the ceiling that lets sunlight pour directly onto the rock and water below.
